Advice to anyone taking the bus from off campus. Get to the bus stop (I'm not saying leave the house, but actually GET to the bus stop) AT LEAST 10min before you think you need to. Today I was unfortunate enough to arrive at the bus stop 5min before my class was supposed to begin. Needless to say, once I finally got to the class i was 15min late. Not the best first impression to make in a class of 20 students. The point is, leave before you think you need to and you'll always be in the clear. Get to classes on time too.It just might be an ASL class and you might have to explain infront of the whole class why you're late... with your hands.
ALSO!! Avoid Library Walk at all times, but ESPECIALLY during Weeks 0 and 1 of Fall Quarter. It's hell. you will not get two feet without someone shoving a flyer in your face or asking you if you've found Jesus. (I actually have thankyouverymuch.) If you are unfortunate enough to have to walk down LW just stick in your ear buds and pretend you're listening to music. Or pretend to talk on the phone. They usually leave you alone if you do either of these things.
